I was listening to the radio on the drive up to the cottage and the news mentioned widespread flooding in an American city due to a "big rain event".
An event? Was this something not to be missed? Like Frasier/Ali? Should we have sold tickets to this event?
Maybe have some food trucks, binoculars and tv's for those that aren't close enough to see the devastation.
What a great opportunity for scalpers. "Who needs tickets? Who's dry that wants to be wet? Who wants to drown in a flood? Get yer tickets."
I would probably only sell tickets to a beautiful day, known as a "sunny event."
"Who needs sunscreen? Get yer hats."
